Targeting MAN1B1 potently enhances bladder cancer antitumor immunity via deglycosylation of CD47

open access: yesCancer Communications, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Only a few bladder cancer patients benefit from anti‐programmed cell death protein 1/programmed cell death ligand 1 immunotherapy. The cluster of differentiation 47 (CD47) plays an important role in tumor immune evasion. CD47 is a highly glycosylated protein, however, the mechanisms governing CD47 glycosylation and its potential ...

Theoretical Analysis of d‐Serine and d‐Asparagine as Biomarkers for Glomerular Filtration Rate

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a major global health issue, requiring accurate and noninvasive renal function assessment. Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is the standard measure, but current methods, including inulin clearance and creatinine‐based estimation, have limitations in accuracy, invasiveness, and practicality.

Dietary Pattern of Garlic and Risk of Chronic Diseases: Evidence From Three Large‐Scale Cohorts

open access: yesHealth Care Science, Volume 4, Issue 4, Page 269-280, August 2025.
Upon three large‐scale cohorts, we investigated three dietary patterns of garlic (i.e., garlic frequency, garlic intake, and garlic preference) on five common chronic diseases risk, and observed a protective effect of high garlic consumption on reducing risk of chronic diseases.
