Mapping River Bed Topography in Whitewater Rapids Using Bathymetric LiDAR
ABSTRACT Bathymetric LiDAR captures river topography efficiently for clear and shallow water, but for mountain rivers, whitewater rapids still pose challenges. This study proposes a novel method to enable the extraction of bottom returns specifically in turbulent whitewater sections.

Abstract Background and Purpose Alarming trends show that vaping e‐cigarettes containing synthetic cannabinoid receptor agonists, such as JWH‐018, is increasing among youth. However, the effects of these trends are unclear in both sexes. We therefore characterized the neuropharmacological effects of adolescent JWH‐018 inhalation in male and female rats.

Background and Purpose 3,4‐Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), commonly known as ecstasy, is a psychostimulant with entactogenic properties and known to induce arousal and euphoria. As an amphetamine derivate, MDMA acts on the monoamine systems in the brain and stimulates release of dopamine (DA), noradrenaline (NA) and serotonin (5‐HT), yet their ...

Altered USV pattern in old Tau.P301L mice. [PDF]
A – Columns in histograms show Freq(USV) (expressed in kHz) used to produce USV in Tau.P301L (black columns) and FVB/N (white columns) mice at age 4–5 and 8–10 months. Note Freq(USV) was similar in old Tau.P301L and FVB/N mice.

ABSTRACT The rise in obesity rates in India in the past 3–4 decades is alarming and obesity management needs transformation. A significant barrier is that obesity is often viewed in India as a lifestyle condition rather than a chronic disease, despite broad international recognition of this status.

Abstract Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) is now central to diabetes management, yet variation in how respective medical products are evaluated limits meaningful comparison between CGM systems. Three barriers currently constrain reliable interpretation of glucose‐derived measures.

Prioritized Real‐Time UAV‐Based Vessel Detection for Efficient Maritime Search
ABSTRACT Real‐time vessel detection in maritime environments is crucial for diverse applications requiring speed and accuracy. Static camera views often introduce blind spots, compromising detection efficiency. This paper proposes a novel, real‐time UAV‐based system that uses a dynamic camera control strategy to address this limitation.
