Mathematical calculations of iron complex stoichiometry by direct UV–Vis spectrophotometry
Bioorganic Chemistry, 2013The effects of iron-chelating agents on miscellaneous pathologies are currently largely tested. Due to various indications, different properties for chelators are required. A stoichiometry of the complex in relation to pH is one of the crucial factors.

Polymer analysis by higher-order UV/VIS-derivative spectrophotometry
Polymer Bulletin, 1980High resolution higher-order UV/VIS derivative spectrophotometry (HODS) has been used for some selected analytical problems of polymers, such as copolymer composition, determination of unconverted monomer in polymer and analysis of polymer additives.

UV/Vis Spectrophotometry and UV Imaging
2016The present chapter describes typical instrumentation and principles of UV/Visible spectrophotometry and UV imaging measurements. The absorption of light as a function of wavelength depends on the structural properties of molecules as well as the solvent in which they are dissolved, including solvent polarity, pH, temperature and the presence of ...

UV/VIS SPECTROPHOTOMETRY FOR THE EVALUATION OF BINDER-AGGREGATE INTERACTIONS
Fuel Science and Technology International, 1992ABSTRACT UV/VIS absorption spectra of a few bitumens and their main generic fractions obtained by liquid chromatography have been recorded. Major or minor differences have been found depending on the nature of the bitumen and the generic fraction considered. Those differences are a valuable help in interpreting measurements of binder-aggregate affinity.

[On-line coupling of microcolumn electrophoresis and UV-Vis spectrophotometry].
Guang pu xue yu guang pu fen xi = Guang pu, 2015In the present paper, a laboratory-made high-performance electrophoresis microcolumn unit was prepared for UV-Vis spectrophotometer. X-ray diffraction was used in the preparation of electrophoretic microcolumns. And an analytical technique of microcolumn electrophoresis coupled with UV-Vis spectrophotometry was introduced. Uniform quartz microncrystals

A spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of traces of phosphorus in zirconium based alloys (Zr-2.5Nb and Zircaloy). It is achieved by selective fluoride complexation controlled by boric acid. The samples were dissolved in HF and fluoro-complexes of the matrices were formed by maintaining the concentration of HF while the ...
