Gadusol‐rich extracts provide effective UVB protection and antioxidant activity in HaCaT cells and C. elegans, highlighting their potential as natural photochemoprotective agents for pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications. Inorganic sunscreens containing the UV filters titanium dioxide (TiO2) and/or zinc oxide (ZnO) alleviated various biomarkers of photoaging in human dermal fibroblasts, at a gene and protein level.
