Neutrophil‐Macrophage Interactions Shape Inflammatory Macrophage Remodeling in Gastric Cancer During Chemo‐Immunotherapy

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
PD‐1 blockade combined with chemotherapy induces MHC‐II+ inflammatory neutrophils in gastric cancer, which engage in dynamic crosstalk with macrophages to remodel the tumor microenvironment toward a pro‐inflammatory state, thereby amplifying antitumor immune responses.

From Cold to Hot: Nanozyme‐Based Strategies for Reprogramming the Tumour Immunoenvironment

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Nanozymes, with multi‐enzyme catalytic activities, reprogram the immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment by inducing immunogenic cell death, relieving hypoxia, and depleting antioxidants, effectively converting immunologically “cold” tumours into “hot” ones to boost cancer immunotherapy efficacy.

A Phase 2 Trial of Frexalimab, a CD40L Antagonist, in Adolescents and Adults With Recent‐Onset Type 1 Diabetes (FABULINUS): Rationale and Study Design

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a chronic autoimmune disease, characterised by progressive destruction of the insulin‐producing pancreatic β‐cells. Preserving remaining β‐cells at the time of diagnosis may improve long‐term outcomes. Frexalimab is a humanised monoclonal antibody specific for CD40L undergoing evaluation for treatment of ...
