Aloe vera Tannin Ameliorates Fructose‐Induced Dyslipidaemia and Oxidative Stress in Wistar Rats
Aloe vera tannin (AVT) significantly enhances liver reduced glutathione and superoxide dismutase activities in rats. Fructose consumption creates dyslipidaemia in rats by significantly increasing serum cholesterol and LDL levels. AVT prevented fructose‐induced dyslipidaemia in rats by controlling the lipid profile. 1‐Methylcyclopropene (1‐MCP) containing‐paper delayed the color change and maintained higher rate of commercially acceptable fruit in Anxi persimmons during storage were attributed to the increased activities of H+‐ATPase, Ca2+‐ATPase, and Mg2+‐ATPase and higher levels of ATP content and energy charge (EC).
