PARP inhibitors elicit distinct transcriptional programs in homologous recombination competent castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.

The impact of B2B value co-creation on consumer’s purchasing intentions in SE-Asia [PDF]

open access: yes
In an increasingly competitive marketplace, consumers are presented with greater choices of services than ever before, and therefore, understanding the B2B value co-creation activities between both suppliers and consumers is of great importance.

Co-creation and consumer’s purchasing intentions, any value in B2B activities? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Given the increasing competitive nature of global markets, consumers are able to choose from an ever- increasing quality of products and services with constant declining prices. Hence, better understanding of B2B value co-creation activities that governs

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Exploring value co-creation in public health: factors influencing collaborative development of a food retailers’ toolkit from multi-stakeholder perspectives

open access: yesCritical Public Health
In public health, collaborative efforts aimed at improving food environments have gained momentum, yet the subtleties of value co-creation remain underexamined. Value co-creation is defined as the shared value generated by a group of participants through

What if things go wrong in co-producing health services? Exploring the implementation problems of health care co-production

open access: yesPolicy & Society, 2018
Patient-centered care and health services’ co-production are the cornerstones of the health care system of the future. These constructs rely on the reconceptualization of the patient as a co-deliverer of care.

Investigating the cell of origin and novel molecular targets in Merkel cell carcinoma: a historic misnomer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.
