You Do Not Want to Go to the Island: A Rhetorical Panorama of The Island [PDF]
The first glance at the tropical haven emerging from the luminous teal waters arouses an awe of such a paradise. The inhabitants of a facility in the Michael Bay film, The Island, daily abide in that awe, assured in their eminent continuance succeeding a

This study explores the effects of DNOP plasticizer on P(VDF‐TrFE‐CFE) terpolymers, revealing a strong synergy between chemical structure and physical properties. High TrFE bringing natural flexibility and CFE enhancing the plasticizer retention through theorized halogen bonds, ultra‐soft, crack‐free films of high permittivity and softness are ...

Research Progress of Exosome-Derived microRNA in Alcohol Use Disorders: A Critical Review. [PDF]
Exosome‐derived microRNAs represent stable and mechanistically active mediators of alcohol‐induced multi‐organ injury. This review summarizes how chronic alcohol exposure reshapes exosomal miRNA cargo across the liver, immune system, and brain, highlighting key miRNAs with diagnostic value and therapeutic potential.

Modeling the Intermediate Flow Regime in Flow‐Compensated Intravoxel Incoherent Motion MRI
ABSTRACT Purpose The intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) model is commonly used to separate the effects of motion related to diffusion and blood microcirculation (perfusion) on the MR signal. Depending on the encoding time (T), it is possible to probe the different temporal regimes of blood motion, which resemble a ballistic flow at short T and a ...

A chasmosaurine ceratopsid premaxilla from the basal sandstone of the Hell Creek Formation, Montana
A well-preserved large chasmosaurine ceratopsid premaxilla (MOR 1122 7-22-00-1) collected from the basal sandstone of the Cretaceous Hell Creek Formation (HCF) represents one of the stratigraphically lowest ceratopsid occurrences in the formation.

ABSTRACT Purpose The aim of this study is to improve the traditional T1‐weighted (T1w) over T2‐weighted (T2w) ratio as a proxy for myelin by investigating the optimal T2w TE and combination of exponent‐weighted T1w and T2w images (T1wx1/T2wx2$$ \mathrm{T}1{\mathrm{w}}^{x_1}/\mathrm{T}2{\mathrm{w}}^{x_2} $$).

A new method to identify proteins involved in the uptake and intracellular trafficking of nanoparticles is presented. After nanoparticle uptake, cells are lysed and the organelles with nanoparticles are purified using fluorescence assisted cell sorting. Next, their composition is determined by proteomic analysis.
