Enabling pandemic‐resilient healthcare: Narrowband Internet of Things and edge intelligence for real‐time monitoring

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract The Internet of Things (IoT) in deploying robotic sprayers for pandemic‐associated disinfection and monitoring has garnered significant attention in recent research. The authors introduce a novel architectural framework designed to interconnect smart monitoring robotic devices within healthcare facilities using narrowband Internet of Things ...

High-presure homogenization and maltodextrins mixtures to microencapsulate vanilla (Vanilla planifolia) extract through freeze-drying

open access: yesRevista Mexicana de Ingeniería Química, 2016
"Microfluidization followed by encapsulation through freeze-drying was performed in order to assess the effectof high pressure homogenization (70 MPa, one and two cycles) and the coating material composed of maltodextrins (MD)mixtures with different dextrose equivalent (DE) values, DE 10 (MD10) and DE 20 (MD20) at 10% (w/w) total solidscontent, on the ...

PSHead: 3D Head Reconstruction from a Single Image with Diffusion Prior and Self‐Enhancement

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
We introduce PSHead, a coarse‐to‐fine framework guided by both object and face priors, to produce a Gaussian‐based 3D avatar for a single frontal‐view reference image. In the coarse stage, we create an initial 3D representation by applying diffusion models trained for general object generation, using Score Distillation Sampling losses over novel views.

EvolvED: Evolutionary Embeddings to Understand the Generation Process of Diffusion Models

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
EvolvED visualises how diffusion models generate images by embedding intermediate outputs to preserve semantics and evolutionary structure. It supports analysis via (a) user‐defined goals and prompts, (b) sampling intermediate images, (c) extracting relevant features, and (d) visualising them in structured radial and rectilinear layouts for ...

Story2Board: A Training‐Free Approach for Expressive Visual Storytelling

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract We present Story2Board, a training‐free framework for expressive storyboard generation from natural language. Existing methods narrowly focus on subject identity, overlooking key aspects of visual storytelling such as spatial composition, background evolution, and narrative pacing.

Fast Injective Mesh Parameterization via Beltrami Coefficient Prolongation

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract We present a highly efficient and robust method for free boundary injective parameterization of disk‐like triangle meshes with low isometric distortion. Harmonic function–based approaches, grounded in a strong mathematical framework, are widely employed.

Layer3D: A 3D Layered Representation for Multiview Vector Graphics

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract We present Layer3D, a novel 3D neural representation that models objects as collections of decomposable neural implicit primitives. These primitives enable the generation of layered images with consistent correspondences across viewpoints, establishing a flexible framework for multiview vector graphics decomposition.

SUPPRESSION ABILITY OF CRUDE EXTRACT DERIVED FROM MARINE BIOTA AGAINST FUSARIUM OXYSPORUM F.SP. VANILLAE

open access: yesJurnal Biologi Udayana, 2010
The objective of this research was to investigate suppression ability of marine biota extracts against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. vanillae of vanilla stem rot. Samples were collected at intertidal zones and in the depth of 1-7 m from seven beaches in Bali.
