PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTSOF ADAPTIVE FIR EQUALIZER USINGMODIEFED VERSION OF VSSLMS ALGORITHM
In this paper possible improvements in the performance of adaptive Linear Equalizer (LE) and Decision Feed Back Equalizer (DFE) are reported. A modified Least Mean Square (LMS) algorithm incorporating a recursively adjusted adaptation step size based on

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Variable Step Size P&O MPPT Controller to Improve Static and Dynamic PV System Performances
In this paper, a variable step size P&O algorithm is used in order to improve the performance of a photovoltaic system in both dynamic and static plans. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm has been investigated successfully using the BP SX150S solar

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

IMPROVED VARIABLE STEP SIZE INCREMENTAL CONDUCTANCE MPPT METHOD WITH HIGH CONVERGENCE SPEED FOR PV SYSTEMS [PDF]
Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithms are employed in photovoltaic (PV) systems to provide full utilization of PV array output power. Among all the MPPT algorithms, the Incremental Conductance (INC) algorithm is widely used in PV systems due to ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).
