Comparison between variational iteration method and Gegenbauer–Galerkin method for solving two dimensional nonlinear Volterra integral equations of the second kind [PDF]
This paper intends to introduce two numerical techniques—the variational iteration method and the Gegenbauer–Galerkin method—for obtaining solutions to two dimensional nonlinear Volterra integral equations of the second kind.

A Predictor-Corrector Methods for Mixed Inverse Variational Inequalities
In this paper, a class of mixed inverse variational inequalities is introduced and studied. We prove the existence of the solution of the auxiliary problem for mixed inverse variational inequalities, suggest a predictor-corrector method for solving the ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Matrix product state on a quantum computer
Solving quantum many-body systems is one of the most significant regimes where quantum computing applies. Currently, as a hardware-friendly computational paradigms, variational algorithms are often used for finding the ground energy of quantum many-body ...

A New Variational Inequality with its Application
In this paper, we suggest the iterative algorithm for a variational inequality by using the auxiliary principle technique, which is closely related to the optimal boundary control of time-varying population system with age-dependence and spatial ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

An Adaptive Proximal Method for Variational Inequalities
A novel analog of Nemirovski’s proximal mirror method with an adaptive choice of constants in the minimized prox-mappings at each iteration for variational inequalities with a Lipschitz continuous field is proposed.

Geometric Discretization of Lagrangian Mechanics and Field Theories [PDF]
This thesis presents a unified framework for geometric discretization of highly oscillatory mechanics and classical field theories, based on Lagrangian variational principles and discrete differential forms. For highly oscillatory problems in mechanics,

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.
