Papaya lethal yellowing virus (PLYV) infects Vasconcellea cauliflora [PDF]

open access: yesFitopatologia Brasileira, 2006

Evaluation of intergeneric F1 hybrid progenies of papaya (Arka Prabhath x Vasconcellea cauliflora and Arka Prabhath x Vasconcellea cundinamarcencis) for morphological, fruit and yield traits coupled with PRSV tolerance

open access: yesJournal of Horticultural Sciences, 2023
Papaya is one of the most important fruit crops of tropical and subtropical regions of the world including India. Though India stands first in production in the world, the productivity is low as compared to other countries due to high incidence of ...

Partial sequence analysis and relative expression of the HSP70 gene of Vasconcellea pubescens

open access: yesUniversitas Scientiarum, 2023
Environmental factors affect nearly all land areas on the planet. Global warming is one of the most destructive of these factors because it has adverse effects on crop production systems.

An umbra-related virus found in babaco (Vasconcellea × heilbornii)

open access: yesArchives of Virology, 2021
The complete sequence of a new viral RNA from babaco (Vasconcellea × heilbornii) was determined. The genome consisted of 4,584 nucleotides, containing two open reading frames (ORFs 1 and 2), a 9-nt-long noncoding region (NCR) at the 5' terminus, and an unusually long (1,843 nt) NCR at the 3' terminus.

Species relationships in the genus Vasconcellea (Caricaceae) based on molecular and morphological evidence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Validity of the taxa currently recognized in the genus Vasconcellea was analyzed by investigating morphological and molecular data from 105 specimens of this genus and six specimens of the related genus Carica. Taxon identification of these specimens was

PARTIAL SEQUENCES OF THE GENE THAT CODIFIES FOR THE TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR VPHSFB1 IN Vasconcellea pubescens. FIRST REPORT [PDF]

open access: yesBAG. Journal of Basic and Applied Genetics, 2019
Plant heat stress transcription factors (HSFs) are involved in the response to heat. In Arabidopsis thaliana the HSFs genes are completely identified, however there was no information available about these genes in Vasconcellea pubescens (Chamburo) until
