Tomographic Printing in a Chip: A Versatile Platform for Biomimetic 3D Organ‐on‐Chip

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A novel light‐based bioprinting approach, TVAM‐in‐a‐chip, enables rapid, contactless fabrication of biomimetic 3D organ‐on‐chip devices directly within preassembled microfluidic platforms. This strategy supports diverse materials, including cell‐laden resins, and eliminates post‐assembly steps.

Mechanically Compliant, Precision‐Porous Brain Implants Reduce the Foreign Body Reaction and Guide Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores how the brain responds to implants of different properties. Hydrogels with various mechanical properties and pore sizes were implanted in adult rat brains. It is observed that hydrogels with mechanical property closely matched to the brain and 40 µm pore size elicit a pro‐healing response from the brain by modulating the immune ...

Exploring SIRT1 Activator Role in Preventing Thyroid Hormone-Induced Cardiac & Vascular Dysfunction in Adult Male Albino Rats

open access: yesThe Egyptian Journal of Histology
Background: Tissue destruction and many diseases are driven by chronic reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation. Thyroid hormones could be able to activate ROS, which represent an important mechanism in pathogenesis of cardiovascular disorder. A potent
