Effect of different vase life-enhancing solutions on vase life of cut sunflower
Journal of Horticultural Science & Technology, 2021The cut flower industry is continuously progressing due to their increasing demand at national and international levels. New flowers like sunflower (Helianthus annuus L) and many others are added to this category to make this industry more profitable.

Vase life characteristics of selected Grevillea
Australian Journal of Experimental Agriculture, 1996Grevillea is a large genus containing many species, forms and hybrids bearing inflorescences with desirable cut flower characteristics. Nineteen different Grevillea spp. and forms (7), and 39 hybrids (including 11 repeat collections) were assessed for vase life. Longevity varied 3-fold, from 3 days for G. wickhamii to 9 days for a G. whiteana accession.

PREDICTING ROSE VASE LIFE IN A SUPPLY CHAIN
Acta Horticulturae, 2013With increasing market globalization quality management of cut flowers is a necessity. An important attribute of quality of cut flowers is their vase life at the final consumer. However, techniques to measure the potential vase life at points of sale in the chain are not available at this moment.

PREDICTING ROSE VASE LIFE IN A SUPPLY CHAIN
Acta Horticulturae, 2015An important quality attribute of cut flowers is their vase life. With increasing market globalization, the vase life is more and more affected by transport and storage. However, techniques to measure the potential vase life at the point of sale in the chain are not available at this moment. Therefore, simulation models that can predict vase life based

Postharvest handling and vase life of cut sunflower
Canadian Journal of Plant Science, 2023The sunflower ( Helianthus annuus L.) is a commercially important cut flower requiring research into postharvest factors such as recutting, water uptake, stem number, cooling rate, and storage temperature to maximize vase life. Stems of 'Sunbright' sunflowers were either recut before or after a drying period up to 48 h. Water uptake, stem quality, and
