ABSTRACT Objective Anorexia nervosa (AN) is a metabolic‐psychiatric disorder characterized by severe weight loss, hypercortisolemia, and hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis activation. In this study, we investigated the effect of inhibiting cortisol regeneration via the enzyme 11β‐hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11β‐HSD1) on the ...

Seed Pelleting Technologies: Paving the Way for Resilient and Sustainable Future Farming
ABSTRACT Seed pelleting is an emerging precision‐agriculture technology that transforms small or irregular seeds into uniform units to enhance mechanical sowing, placement accuracy, and early crop establishment. Pelleting performance depends on the interplay among binder–filler composition, pellet structure, and post‐pelleting moisture conditions ...

ABSTRACT Hippocampal Area CA2, with some exceptions, had long been neglected in in vivo studies, due largely to its small size, and in in vitro studies because of its general similarity to CA3 and CA1. Increasing evidence showing that CA2 was molecularly distinct led to the increased appreciation of CA2 as a separate region, and as such, that it likely

Complications were common but mostly minor following ultrasound‐guided percutaneous kidney biopsy. Older age, obesity, and smoking were independently associated with a reduced risk of complications, including hematoma. These findings highlight the overall safety of the procedure and support individualized risk assessment based on patient ...
