Dynamic Modeling of Robot Systems with Cylindrical Joint Based on Vector Bond Graph

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
In order to increase the reliability and efficiency of the dynamic analysis of complex robot systems, the corresponding vector bond graph procedure is proposed. Based on the kinematic constraint condition, the vector bond graph procedure for modeling robot systems with cylindrical joint is described.

A Vector Bond Graph Method of Kineto-Static Analysis for Complex Planar Linkage

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
For the kineto-static analysis of complex planar linkage, the procedure based on vector bond graph is proposed. The constraint force vectors at joints can be considered as unknown effort source vectors and added to the corresponding 0-junctions of the system vector bond graph model, most of the differential causalities in system vector bond graph model

Application of Vector Bond Graphs to the Modeling of a Class of Hand Prostheses

Volume 3, 2004
Vector bond graphs have been systematically applied to the modeling of prosthesis for a partially impaired hand. The partial impairment considered covers a category of the hand that has lost one or more fingers but retains the ability of its remaining natural fingers. The fingers and their prosthetic extensions are considered as rigid links.

Proposition for an Unambiguous Vector Bond Graph Notation

Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, 1982
Notation and definitions of vector bonds and multiport elements are proposed. Multiport element arrays and junction arrays are introduced as well as the direct sum of vector bonds. The usefulness of these concepts is demonstrated by some examples: the lumped representation of distributed parameter systems, the representation of a 3-D mechanical system (

The dynamic modelling and simulation of planar flexible multibody systems based on vector bond graph

2012 IEEE Symposium on Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEESYM), 2012
For the dynamic modelling and simulation of planar flexible multibody sysytems containing electromechanical coupling, the corresponding vector bond graph method was proposed. Based on the kinematic relationship of planar flexible multibody systems, the general procedure for modelling planar flexible multibody systems by vector bond graph is described ...

Causality in vector bond graphs and its application to modeling of multi-body dynamic systems

Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory, 2006
Abstract Applications of bond graph to the modeling of dynamic systems with one dimensional topology have been proved to be efficient and effective. In applications where multi-power bonds are required to express the physics of the elements, the multi-dimensional topology of the system needs to be resolved into scalar forms.

Vector Bond Graphs Applied to One-Dimensional Distributed Systems

Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, 1975
Vector bond graph notation and conventions are presented which simplify the task of representing the multiple power bonds, transformations and junction structures of multiport systems. These ideas are shown to be particularly convenient in the reticulation of represntative microelements for a class of one-dimensional multipower distributed systems. The

Proposition of a modeling method for constrained mechanical systems based on the vector bond graph

Journal of the Franklin Institute, 1998
This paper provides a new representation of mechanical joints by using vector bond graph elements. Also, force elements are modeled by the bond graph terminology. In the bond graph of this paper, the power is conserved and the energy conservation is valid for all elements.

The dynamic modelling and simulation of planar linkage containing translational joint based on vector bond graph

Proceedings of 2011 International Conference on Electronic & Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology, 2011
The procedure of modeling planar linkage containing translational joint by vector bond graphs is described. The constraint force vectors at joints can be considered as unknown effort source vectors and added to the corresponding 0-junctions of the system vector bond graph model, most of the differential causalities in system vector bond graph model can
