Photothermal‐Activated Antibacterial Amyloid‐Polyphenol‐Iron Hydrogels for Synergistic Wound Healing
We report a thermally triggered supramolecular hydrogel (LTFe) formed by Fe3+ and tannic acid on lysozyme amyloid fibrils. Fe3+ enables rapid gelation and photothermal transduction with an efficiency of 88.56%. The LTFe hydrogel exhibits excellent biocompatibility, potent antibacterial activity against E. coli and S.

Downregulation of Fes inhibits VEGF-A-induced chemotaxis and capillary-like morphogenesis by cultured endothelial cells. [PDF]
The aim of this study was to determine whether the downregulation of endogenous Fes by siRNA in cultured endothelial cells affects vascular endothelial growth factor-A (VEGF-A)-induced chemotaxis and capillary-like morphogenesis, which are considered as ...

Surface‐host dialogue at the implant interface governs biological fate and osseointegration. Surface physicochemical properties of titanium (Ti) dental implants, including microgrooves, nanopatterns, nanotopography, roughness, and wettability, modulate the initial adsorption of proteins and the formation of a dynamic biointerface.

Natural Biomaterials for Osteochondral Repair: From Source to Strategy
Biological origin‐guided overview of natural biomaterials and therapeutic strategies for osteochondral tissue engineering. The circular diagram categorizes representative materials and strategies into plant/algae‐derived, microbial‐derived, animal‐derived, and human‐derived sources, centered on an osteochondral defect repair model.

VEGF-A splicing patterns in kidney tissue obtained from healthy mice and humans.
The VEGF-A 121, 165, and 189 isoforms were measured in kidney biopsies obtained from healthy human subjects, and the corresponding VEGF-A isoforms (VEGF-A 120, 164, and 188, respectively) were measured in kidney tissue and obtained from healthy mice ...

VEGF-A, -C and CA-125 serum levels in healthy and ovarian cancer patients.
Box plots showing serum levels of VEGF-A (A), VEGF-C (B) and CA-125 (C) in healthy people and ovarian cancer patients with low and high stages. Two types of outliers: out values and extreme (far out) values in box plots were marked with small circle and ...

VEGF-A splicing patterns in healthy kidneys and glomeruli.
The VEGF-A 121, 165, and 189 splice variants (isoforms) were measured in total kidney tissue and glomeruli (isolated using laser microdissection) obtained from healthy human subjects.
