Combined Estimation of Vehicle Dynamic State and Inertial Parameter for Electric Vehicles Based on Dual Central Difference Kalman Filter Method

open access: yesChinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, 2023
Distributed drive electric vehicles (DDEVs) possess great advantages in the viewpoint of fuel consumption, environment protection and traffic mobility. Whereas the effects of inertial parameter variation in DDEV control system become much more pronounced

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Constraint Embedding for Vehicle Suspension Dynamics

open access: yesArchive of Mechanical Engineering, 2016
The goal of this research is to achieve close to real-time dynamics performance for allowing auto-pilot in-the-loop testing of unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) for urban as well as off-road scenarios. The overall vehicle dynamics performance is governed by

Dynamics of the BCS-BEC crossover in a degenerate Fermi gas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We study the short-time dynamics of a degenerate Fermi gas positioned near a Feshbach resonance following an abrupt jump in the atomic interaction resulting from a change of external magnetic field.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

The influence of vehicle dynamics on the time-dependent resonances of a bridge

open access: yesAdvances in Bridge Engineering, 2023
In bridge structural health monitoring, the response of the bridge while the vehicle is on the bridge, is called a vehicle-bridge interaction (VBI) response.

Sampling-based Motion Planning for Active Multirotor System Identification

open access: yes, 2017
This paper reports on an algorithm for planning trajectories that allow a multirotor micro aerial vehicle (MAV) to quickly identify a set of unknown parameters. In many problems like self calibration or model parameter identification some states are only

Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...
