Analysis of Suppression Effect on Air Particulate Matter Propagation Distance in High-speed Train Passenger Compartments Based on Flow Field Optimization

open access: yesChengshi guidao jiaotong yanjiu
ObjectiveIn the enclosed environment of high-speed train passenger compartments, air circulation is restricted, and pollutants may accumulate and spread within the limited space, directly affecting passenger comfort and safety.

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Vibration Reduction and Noise Control Technologies for Abnormal High-speed EMU Vehicle End Vibration

open access: yesChengshi guidao jiaotong yanjiu
ObjectiveWhen high-speed EMUs (electric multiple units) operate at speeds exceeding 300 km/h, vehicle end abnormal vibrations may occasionally occur, leading to increased interior noise and resonance phenomena.

Interferon beta drives therapy resistance in a patient‐derived model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Interferon type 1 (IFN‐1) production and signaling is associated with the acquisition of therapy resistance, following chronic DNA damage, via Interferon‐related DNA damage resistance signature (IRDS) gene expression. An alternative, DNA damage‐independent role of sustained IFN‐1 mediated resistance was identified and characterized by the emergence of ...

Technical Study on Prepreg Front-end Fiberglass Head Covers for Urban Rail Transit Vehicles

open access: yesChengshi guidao jiaotong yanjiu
ObjectiveAs a critical component of urban rail transit vehicles, the front-end head cover plays a decisive role in the overall vehicle mass balance due to its unique shape and installation position. Therefore, head cover designs that are easy to form and

Pharmacological chromatin remodeling enhances response to estrogen therapy in ER+ breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Estrogen therapy elicits clinical benefit in ~ 30% of patients with endocrine‐resistant estrogen receptor (ER)‐positive breast cancer. Based on findings that ER transcriptional activation underlies response to estrogen therapy, we tested the effects of epigenetic dysregulation via pharmacological inhibition of histone deacetylases (HDACi).

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Acute caffeine treatment protects the developing retina from ischemia‐induced cell death

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Caffeine reduces cell death in the developing retina under ischemia (OGD). This effect does not involve BDNF upregulation or antioxidant pathways (NRF2/VEGF). Neuroprotection occurs mainly through adenosine A2A receptor antagonism, decreasing glutamate release and excitotoxicity, highlighting caffeine's potential as an acute neuroprotective agent in ...
