A 2-year-old boy withthe diagnosis of coarctation of the aorta underwent balloon angioplasty. At 3-month follow-up, clinical examination revealed persistent hypertension. A 16-row multislice computerized tomography (CT) scan (Toshiba Aquilion Multi 16, Toshiba Medical System, Tokyo) was performed to evaluate the presence of residual coarctation.
