The impact of less severe intimate partner aggression on child conduct problems

Children who were exposed to intimate partner aggression in their early development have a higher chance to show conduct problems later in childhood. This effect is only partially explained by maternal depressive symptoms. In addition, maternal warmth cannot buffer this impact.

Assessing cognition in autistic youth with and without attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder using the NIH Toolbox Cognition Battery: An Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes‐Wide Cohort Study

Autistic individuals tend to experience difficulties with fluid cognition as found previously, with minimal impact of ADHD. However, there was a notable proportion of autistic individuals with average or superior cognitive performance, highlighting the importance of strength‐based and transdiagnostic research approaches.

Prenatal exposure to antihypertensive medication: A systematic review of neurodevelopmental and educational outcomes

This systematic review investigated the association of prenatal exposure to antihypertensive medication with longer‐term poor neurodevelopmental outcomes by evaluating the findings from existing literature. We undertook a systematic review of previous studies looking specifically at neurodevelopmental outcomes in children.
