Measurement of the inclusive isolated prompt photon cross section in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector [PDF]
A measurement of the cross section for the inclusive production of isolated prompt photons in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy root s = 7 TeV is presented.

Vertical distribution of pelagic cephalopods [PDF]
The vertical distributions of pelagic cephalopods are analyzed, based primarily on sturlies undertaken in the waters off California, Bermuda, and Hawaii. Much of the information is derived from midwater trawl nets equipped with closing apparatus.

The vertical structure and kinematics of grand design spirals [PDF]
We use an N-body simulation to study the 3D density distribution of spirals and the resulting stellar vertical velocities. Relative to the disc's rotation, the phase of the spiral's peak density away from the mid-plane trails that at the mid-plane.

The vertical distribution of iron stable isotopes in the North Atlantic near Bermuda [PDF]
Seawater dissolved iron isotope ratios (δ^(56)Fe) have been measured in the North Atlantic near Bermuda. In a full-depth profile, seawater dissolved δ^(56)Fe is isotopically heavy compared to crustal values throughout the water column (δ^(56)Fe_(IRMM-014)

Six chaetognath species were determined, all for the first time, in the inner waters between Reloncaví Fjord and Boca del Guafo, Chile. Sagitta tasmanica (85.3%) and Eukrohnia hamata (5.8%) were dominant.

Vertical separation of the energy-distribution industry; an assessment of several options for unbundling [PDF]
The Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs has proposed to replace the currently implemented structure of legal unbundling of the energy distribution industry by ownership unbundling. In this study we analyse the costs and benefits of this proposal.

Generation of a highly phase sensitive polarization squeezed N-photon state by collinear parametric downconversion and coherent photon subtraction [PDF]
It is shown that a highly phase sensitive polarization squeezed (2n-1)-photon state can be generated by subtracting a diagonally polarized photon from the 2n photon component generated in collinear type II downconversion.
