Distinct Lineage of Vesiculovirus from Big Brown Bats, United States [PDF]

open access: diamondEmerging Infectious Diseases, 2013
We identified a novel rhabdovirus, American bat vesiculovirus, from postmortem tissue samples from 120 rabies-negative big brown bats with a history of human contact. Five percent of the tested bats were infected with this virus.

Lentivector Producer Cell Lines with Stably Expressed Vesiculovirus Envelopes [PDF]

open access: goldMolecular Therapy: Methods & Clinical Development, 2018
Retroviral and lentiviral vectors often use the envelope G protein from the vesicular stomatitis virus Indiana strain (VSVind.G). However, lentivector producer cell lines that stably express VSVind.G have not been reported, presumably because of its ...

Leader RNA regulates snakehead vesiculovirus replication via interacting with viral nucleoprotein [PDF]

open access: bronzeRNA Biology, 2020
Leader RNA, a kind of virus-derived small noncoding RNA, has been proposed to play an important role in regulating virus replication, but the underlying mechanism remains elusive.

Freqüência de anticorpos neutralizantes contra o vesiculovirus Piry, em doadores de sangue de Uberaba , Minas Gerais, Brasil Frequency of neutralizing antibodies to the vesiculovirus Piry, in blood donors from Uberaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil [PDF]

Siah2- and LRSAM1-mediated K63-linked ubiquitination of snakehead vesiculovirus nucleoprotein facilitates viral replication. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Virol
Nucleoprotein (N) is well known for its function in the encapsidation of the genomic RNAs of negative-strand RNA viruses, which leads to the formation of ribonucleoproteins that serve as templates for viral transcription and replication.

Resistance signatures to oncolytic vesiculoviruses in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma [PDF]

open access: yesMolecular Therapy: Oncology
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) shows limited response to conventional therapies and immunotherapy due to dense stromal barriers and poor immunogenicity.

Hsp90 Is Required for Snakehead Vesiculovirus Replication via Stabilization of the Viral L Protein

open access: greenJournal of Virology, 2021
It has long been proposed that cellular proteins are involved in viral RNA synthesis via interacting with the viral polymerase protein. This study focused on identifying cellular proteins interacting with the SHVV L protein, studying the effects of their

Structure of the low pH conformation of Chandipura virus G reveals important features in the evolution of the vesiculovirus glycoprotein. [PDF]

open access: goldPLoS Pathogens, 2015
Chandipura virus (CHAV), a member of the vesiculovirus genus, is an emerging human pathogen. As for other rhabdoviruses, CHAV entry into susceptible cells is mediated by its single envelope glycoprotein G which is both involved in receptor recognition ...

Characterization of Antibody Interactions with the G Protein of Vesicular Stomatitis Virus Indiana Strain and Other Vesiculovirus G Proteins [PDF]

open access: hybridJournal of Virology, 2018
VSVind.G is currently regarded as the gold-standard envelope glycoprotein to pseudotype lentiviral vectors. However, recently other G proteins derived from vesiculoviruses have been proposed as alternative envelopes.
