Assiut Veterinary Medical Journal, 1982 Rompun (Xylazine) was tried on 24 buffaloes in four dose rates (0.02, 0.03, 0.07 mg. kg. B. Wt.). The onset and duration of the sedative effect of the drug as well as the clinical signs were recorded. Several increased dosages of Rompun were adminstered.
