Rompun (Xylazine) was tried on 24 buffaloes in four dose rates (0.02, 0.03, 0.07 mg. kg. B. Wt.). The onset and duration of the sedative effect of the drug as well as the clinical signs were recorded. Several increased dosages of Rompun were adminstered.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.
