Analysis of Vibro-Impact System with Ideal Excitation and Various Friction Models

open access: yesScience, Engineering and Technology
In this paper, the dynamic analysis of a vibro-impact system with ideal excitation and various friction models is performed. A physical model of an oscillating mechanical system with possible impact occurrence is presented and the corresponding ...

Nonlinear Dynamics of a Resonant-Impact Dielectric Elastomer Actuator

open access: yesApplied System Innovation, 2022
In recent years, with the rapid development of soft robots, dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs) as a novel type of soft actuators have been widely studied. However, DEAs often suffer from low instantaneous output force/power, especially in high payload

Substantiation of parametres of springs vibro tines

open access: yesАграрная наука Евро-Северо-Востока, 2017
The most energy-intensive operation in cultivation of agricultural crops is a soil treatment, which spent up to 40% energy. Among the system of measures to reduce the energy intensity of tillers most important is the use of vibration of working bodies ...

A Nonlinear Impact-Driven Triboelectric Vibration Energy Harvester for Frequency Up-Conversion

open access: yesMicromachines, 2023
Energy harvesting effectively powers micro-sensors and wireless applications. However, higher frequency oscillations do not overlap with ambient vibrations, and low power can be harvested.

Environmental DNA Biosurveillance of Chelonid Herpesvirus 5 (ChHV5) in Endangered Sea Turtles Around Singapore

open access: yesEnvironmental DNA, Volume 8, Issue 3, May–June 2026.
This study explores the application of environmental DNA sampling for chelonid herpesvirus 5 (ChHV5) surveillance in endangered sea turtles around Singapore. We demonstrate the direct detection of ChHV5 from seawater, and the feasibility of sediment‐based ChHV5 detection using a spike‐and‐recovery experiment.

A Solution Procedure Combining Analytical and Numerical Approaches to Investigate a Two-Degree-of-Freedom Vibro-Impact Oscillator

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
In this paper, a new approach is proposed to analyze the behavior of a nonlinear two-degree-of-freedom vibro-impact oscillator subject to a harmonic perturbing force, based on a combination of analytical and numerical approaches.

Reduction, Softening, and Melting Characteristics of Mill Scale‐Based Briquettes for Blast Furnace Ironmaking

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 97, Issue 5, Page 2585-2599, May 2026.
The study evaluates mill scale‐based briquettes, which meet industrial standards for shatter strength and exhibit a low decrepitation index. Despite their limited reducibility in nonisothermal reduction experiments, softening and melting results indicate potential application as a substitute for conventional acidic iron‐bearing materials for use in ...

Olivine Microstructure Constraints on Ureilite Parent Body Deformation

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Planets, Volume 131, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Ureilites are ultramafic achondrites for which the parent body is unknown. Monomict ureilites, consisting primarily of olivine and pyroxene, are thought to represent mantle residues, carrying essential information for their parent body deformation history.
