Volatile Organic Compound Release During Litter Decomposition in the Arctic
Volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from Arctic litter decomposition decline over time and differ strongly between Cassiope tetragona and Salix arctica. The inter‐species differences and changes over time are greater than the effects of climate change treatments on litter VOC emissions.

Cellular microRNAs Repress Vesicular Stomatitis Virus but Not Theiler’s Virus Replication
Picornavirus’ genomic RNA is a positive-stranded RNA sequence that also serves as a template for translation and replication. Cellular microRNAs were reported to interfere to different extents with the replication of specific picornaviruses, mostly ...

Floppy Curves with Applications to Real Algebraic Curves
We show how one may sometimes perform singular ambient surgery on the complex locus of a real algebraic curve and obtain what we call a floppy curve. A floppy curve is a certain kind of singular surface in CP(2), more general than the complex locus of a ...

Single oral administration of dronabinol increases ocular blood flow in patients with glaucoma
Abstract Purpose Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness globally, primarily driven by elevated intraocular pressure (IOP). Still, some patients progress despite significant IOP lowering, potentially due to impaired ocular blood flow. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of dronabinol, a synthetic tetrahydrocannabinol derivative, on ...

In addition to direct oncolysis, oncolytic viruses (OVs) also induce antitumor immunity, also called viro-immunotherapy. Limited viral replication and immune-negative feedback are the major hurdles to effective viro-immunotherapy. In this study, we found
