Non-frontal model based approach to forensic face recognition [PDF]
In this paper, we propose a non-frontal model based approach which ensures that a face recognition system always gets to compare images having similar view (or pose).

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Virtual Reference Service or to Serve Virtual References? RBI Library Experience [PDF]
Ruđer Bošković Institute Library, being a part of a scientific research institute in the field of natural sciences, can be categorized as a special library. Its patrons are mainly research staff and they have specific needs. In 1994 RBI Library, as first in Croatia, launched its web pages. From the very beginning it has tried to collect for its patrons

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.

SMS Reference in National Library of Indonesia: Pilot Project Research
SMS looks outdated in today's digital era. Perhaps because of that, library did not chose SMS as media for reference services. Existing research’s results prove different things with this assumption. Libraries in Indonesia itself seem do not use SMS as a
