Selection Strategies for Flexible Pressure Sensor Electrode Materials Toward Ultrafast Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals, for the first time, how the electrode–organic interface governs the temporal performance of flexible pressure sensors. By pairing high‐conductivity CVD PEDOT with commonly used metal electrodes, the authors demonstrate that interfacial energy alignment dictates microsecond‐scale response, providing a straightforward design strategy ...

The Three-Dimensional Model as a ‘Scientific Fact’: The Scientific Methodology in Hypothetical Reconstruction

open access: yesHeritage
For more than thirty years, 3D digital modelling has been used more and more widely as a research tool in various disciplinary fields. Despite this, the 3D models produced by different research, investigation, and speculation activities are still only ...

Toward Scalable Solutions for Silver‐Based Gas Diffusion Electrode Fabrication for the Electrochemical Conversion of CO2 – A Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the preparation techniques for silver‐based gas diffusion electrodes used for the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide (eCO2R) are systematically reviewed and compared with respect to their scalability. In addition, physics‐based and data‐driven modeling approaches are discussed, and a perspective is given on how modeling can aid ...

Contact Lens with Moiré Patterns for High‐Precision Eye Tracking

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents a passive contact lens for high‐precision eye tracking, integrating a microscopic moiré grating label. The parallax‐induced shift of macroscopic moiré patterns enables angle measurement with 0.28° precision using a standard camera under ambient light.

Multi-scale supply-demand security assessment of water-energy-food related ecosystem services from an interaction perspective

open access: yesEcological Indicators
Ensuring supply-demand security of the water-energy-food (WEF) nexus is vital for balancing socio-economic development and natural ecosystems. However, existing studies often focus on single-scale assessments within individual units and overlook cross ...
