Positioning Techniques for Underwater Visible Light Communication
Post-print of KICS Busan Branch Fall Conference 2016 In this paper, a positioning scheme for Underwater Visible Light Communications (UVLC) is proposed. Using buoys as UVLC transmitters on the sea surface and any photodetector based receiver underwater,

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Indoor visible light communication and positioning with pan-tilt receiver
In recent years, the demand for wireless connectivity and positioning data has increased due to new technologies such as the internet of things (IoT). The wireless connectivity demand has caused spectrum scarcity in the RF bands. For this reason, visible

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Investigation on indoor visible light positioning systems
With the development of communication technology, there are some shortcomings been found in wireless communication in terms of radio waves. For example, the limitation of the available spectrums.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Unmodulated Visible Light Positioning using the Iterated Extended Kalman Filter
With the rise of solid state lighting, wireless positioning based on visible light is becoming more appealing. However, current visible light positioning systems require additional hardware at the transmitter end in order to modulate the light intensity.
