Çalışmada Afyonkarahisar ilinde Merkeze bağlı köyler ile Şuhut, Sultandağı, Emirdağ, Çobanlar, Sandıklı, İhsaniye ile İscehisar ilçelerindeki toplam 10 koyun sürüsünden kan serum örnekleri alındı. Kullanılan koyunların tamamı 6 aylık ve daha büyük (5 yaşa kadar) olup yetişme şekli gereği tamamı dişi koyun idi.
