Impact of Dietary Supplement Usage on Nutrient Adequacy and the Risk of Nutrient Excess Among Korean Adults

open access: yesJournal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Volume 39, Issue 3, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Objectives The growing popularity of frequent dietary supplements (DS) use raises concerns about DS overconsumption, posing challenges in achieving nutritional balance while avoiding excessive intake. Klebsiella sp. strain B7 enhances alkaline tolerance by secreting pyruvic acid to accelerate L‐malic acid accumulation in soybean

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, Volume 68, Issue 6, Page 1727-1743, June 2026.
Klebsiella sp. strain B7 acts as a positive regulator in alkaline stress responses in soybean. By activating pyruvic acid metabolism and L‐malic acid biosynthesis pathways, B7 significantly increases alkaline tolerance and yield in soybean. ABSTRACT Alkaline stress is a major constraint on crop growth and development and negatively impacts soybean ...

Effects of dietary 1,8‐cineole supplementation on growth performance, antioxidant, and immunological responses of Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, reared in different stocking densities

open access: yesJournal of the World Aquaculture Society, Volume 57, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the effects of dietary 1,8‐cineole (CIN) on Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, reared at different stocking densities. Fish (average initial weight 13.2 ± 0.35 g) were fed diets supplemented with 0%, 0.25%, or 0.5% CIN and stocked at either 14 (normal) or 56 (high) fish per 120‐L tank.

Association Between Dietary Live Microbes and Diet Quality Among Children and Adults in France

open access: yesNutrition Bulletin, Volume 51, Issue 2, Page 245-257, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Consumption of foods containing live microbes has been associated with multiple health benefits. This study assessed exposure to live microbes in foods, including fermented foods, in the nationally representative INCA 3 dietary survey (2014–2015) in France. Foods in the French nutrient composition database (CIQUAL) were assigned to low, medium
