A new strategy for revitalizing aged biofilms using the elastic deformation of biomass‐based flexible carbon aerogel is proposed. The elastic deformation removes the nonelectrogenic bacteria and the dead electrogenic bacteria, as well as a lot of loosely bound extracellular polymer materials.

The Evolution of Galaxy Disks in Dense Environments - Lessons from Compact Galaxy Groups [PDF]
Disk galaxies in compact galaxy groups exhibit a remarkable shortfall of neutral hydrogen compared to both isolated spirals and spirals in more loose groups, but the origin of this HI deficiency remains unclear. Based on a sample of highly HI deficient compact galaxy groups, here updated to also include HCG 58 and HCG 93, we summarise the first results

Mechanical Forces Guide Axon Growth through the Nigrostriatal Pathway in an Organotypic Model
Nano‐pulling is a magnetic nanoparticle‐based technology for guiding and promoting the axon growth of induced pluripotent stem cell‐derived dopaminergic neurospheres in vitro or neural progenitors transplanted in the brain tissue. Fine control of axon guidance is essential for reconstructing neural networks and restoring functional connectivity in the ...

Vitamins of camel milk: A comprehensive review [PDF]
Several authors base their arguments to promote the health benefits of camel milk on components such as vitamins. However, except for vitamin C, the number of references is limited and, overall, reported concentrations in the literature are highly ...

Ultrasound (US)‐treated nanocomposite ‘lever’ hydrogels reprogrammed wound reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels and promoted wound healing in infected diabetic foot ulcers. Abstract Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) are a complex mixture of neuropathy, peripheral arterial disease, and infection, where excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) exacerbates ...

3D‐cultured renal cancer cells exhibit stem‐like phenotypes and are more efficient in generating bone metastases. Vitamin C treatment can suppress the development of bone metastasis. Single‐cell transcriptomic analysis reveals that vitamin C inhibits metastasis by inducing tumor cell cycle arrest, suppressing osteoclast differentiation, and reducing ...
