Mathematical aspects of intraocular fluid flow in the vitreous body
It is shown that the process of establishing the equilibrium concentration of ions is exponential. But very small value of exponent leads to the fact that the ion concentration practically does not change at all reasonable times the values of diffusion ...

Lutein-based dye vitrectomy for idiopathic epiretinal membrane: a pilot study
IntroductionThe use of vital dyes is essential for enhancing visualization of the vitreous and vitreoretinal interface during surgery. In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of a new lutein-based vital dye (LB-VD) for selective staining of the vitreous

This study expands the clinical spectrum of SMARCA4 by describing a novel phenotype in three unrelated individuals with truncating variants. Distinct from Coffin–Siris syndrome and rhabdoid tumor predisposition, this new association is characterized by ocular malformations, specifically microphthalmia and coloboma.

In the oxygen‐induced retinopathy (OIR) mouse model, two distinct microglial subpopulations play opposing roles: highly glycolytic microglia (HGM) promote neovascular formation via Pkm2, while Mrc1/CD206‐positive phagocytosis‐associated microglia (PAM) facilitate its regression.

ABSTRACT Aims Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is linked to elevated risks of cerebrovascular diseases. Whether sodium‐glucose cotransporter‐2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) reduce stroke risk in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and DR remains uncertain. Materials and Methods We conducted a retrospective cohort study using the TriNetX Research Network.
