From Lab to Landscape: Environmental Biohybrid Robotics for Ecological Futures
This Perspective explores environmental biohybrid robotics, integrating living tissues, microorganisms, and insects for operation in real‐world ecosystems. It traces the leap from laboratory experiments to forests, wetlands, and urban environments and discusses key challenges, development pathways, and opportunities for ecological monitoring and ...

Volatile and semi-volatile composition of Cretaceous amber
Cretaceous Research, 2021Abstract Chemical analysis of amber, copal, and resin is a valuable tool for interpreting the botanic origin of amber and the ecological role of resin in ancient forests. Here we investigated for the first time the volatile and semi-volatile composition of Cretaceous amber, as well as copal and Defaunation resin produced by trees of the family ...

VOLATILE COMPOSITION OF BLACK PEPPER
Journal of Food Science, 1971SUMMARY Using relatively mild gas chromatographic conditions, including glass‐lined injectors, glass columns and lower operating temperatures, the occurrence of a number of previously reported hydrocarbon and oxygenated terpenes in pepper oil has been confirmed. On the basis of gas chromatographic retentions and

Yeast Influence on Volatile Composition of Wines
Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 1999Nine Saccharomyces cerevisiae and four Saccharomyces bayanus strains used in the production of Trebbiano wine were examined. The aim of this study is to evaluate the different abilities of various yeast strains in wine-making. The possibility of yeast discrimination on the basis of their volatile production is another possibility.

Volatile composition of Gyrophragmium dunalii
Mycologia, 2000Gyrophragmium dunalii was investigated for volatile compounds by GC/MS. Thirty volatile components were identified. The major volatile constituents of mushrooms from the Mediterranean basin and Atlantic Ocean sand dunes were benzaldehyde (44.2% and 27.6%, respectively) and benzyl alcohol (11.0% and 38.0%, respectively).
