Contactless Measurement of Hypervelocity Projectile Wake Velocity Distribution
This paper presents a microwave approach to investigate the wake velocity distribution of hypervelocity projectile. The ballistic range measurement is carried out to model the transport of hypervelocity object on the ground.

ABSTRACT Objective Status epilepticus (SE) is associated with significant mortality. Sleep architecture may reflect normal brain function. Impaired sleep architecture is associated with poorer outcomes in numerous conditions. Here we investigate the association of sleep architecture in continuous EEG (cEEG) with survival in SE.

Ordinary pseudorepresentations and modular forms
In this short note, we observe that the techniques of our recent work "Pseudo-modularity and Iwasawa theory" can be used to provide a new proof of some of the residually reducible modularity lifting results of Skinner and Wiles.

Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

Computational Optimization of Adaptive Hybrid Darrieus Turbine: Part 1
Darrieus-type Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT) are promising for small scale decentralized power generation because of their unique advantages such as simple design, insensitive to wind direction, reliability, and ease of maintenance.

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe

Wake Analysis of Wind Turbine Based on Scanning Images from Doppler Lidar
[Objective] To fully explore the data value of lidar in wind turbine wake observation, conduct an in-depth study on the three-dimensional (3D) wake structure and wind speed attenuation characteristics in wake zone, and further provide references for ...

Wake of a Ducted Vertical Axis Tidal Turbine in Turbulent Flows, LBM Actuator-Line Approach
Vertical axis tidal turbines are devices that extract the kinetic energy from tidal currents. Tidal currents can be highly turbulent. Since ambient turbulence affects the turbine hydrodynamic, it is critical to understand its influence in order to ...

ABSTRACT Background Emerging evidence suggests that low‐frequency neural oscillations are dynamically regulated by consciousness levels, with the recovery of low cortical activity potentially serving as a neurophysiological substrate for conscious emergence. Targeted enhancement of these low‐frequency rhythms in patients with disorders of consciousness

Effects of Bubble Wake on Coalescence Between Planar Bubbles
Coalescence of two planar air bubbles in stagnant water filled in two parallel plates was experimentally investigated. To examine the effects of bubble wake on coalescence, the bubble diameter, initial vertical and horizontal distances between two ...
