Variations in larval walleye pollock feeding and condition: a synthesis
Fisheries Oceanography, 1996ABSTRACTThere was a strong association among concentrations of microzooplankton prey sampled from the walleye pollock, Theragra chalcogramma, larval habitat, gut contents of larvae, and their nutritional condition. Subsequently, hypothesized survival potentials linked to food availability were validated by independently determined mortality rates.

Transactions of the American Fisheries Society, 2009AbstractThe hearing abilities of three age‐groups (which correspond to size‐classes) of walleye pollock Theragra chalcogramma were determined from auditory evoked potentials. Walleye pollock had the best hearing sensitivity from 100 to 200 Hz, with thresholds around 75 dB re: 1 μPa.
