Survival Improvement With Steroid Use for Pulmonary Veno‐Occlusive Disease With the Aid of Pulmonary Vasodilators and Tyrosine‐Kinase Inhibitor, a Retrospective Study

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, Volume 49, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study aimed to assess the efficacy of steroid treatment with pulmonary vasodilators and tyrosine kinase inhibitors in patients with Pulmonary VenoOcclusive Disease (PVOD). Kaplan‐Meier curve showed that survival of PVOD patients with PSL (PRS) was significantly better with Log rank test (p = 0.01) than without PSL (PNS).

Lecanemab Reduces Neuropsychiatric Symptoms and Related Regional Brain Amyloid Load in Early Alzheimer's Disease: A Preliminary Prospective Study

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 6, June 2026.
This prospective study shows that 6 months of lecanemab treatment significantly reduces brain amyloid load and improves neuropsychiatric symptoms in early Alzheimer's disease. These improvements are linked to amyloid clearance and structural changes in emotion‐related brain regions, indicating benefits beyond cognition.

Exploring the Lung–Liver Axis in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

open access: yesComprehensive Physiology, Volume 16, Issue 3, June 2026.
Among PAH patients without liver disease, subclinical liver dysfunction quantified by MELD‐Na associates with higher pulmonary vascular resistance and inflammatory activation of the pulmonary endothelium, characterized by an IL‐6‐centered transcriptional network enriched for leukocyte chemotaxis.
