Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

Review and classification of indicators of green water availability and scarcity [PDF]
Research on water scarcity has mainly focussed on blue water (ground- and surface water), but green water (soil moisture returning to the atmosphere through evaporation) is also scarce, because its availability is limited and there are competing demands ...

Exploring Global Water Scarcity Dynamics Through Causal Discovery and Structural Causal Modelling
Water scarcity represents a critical global challenge driven by diverse complex interactions between natural and anthropogenic factors. Long‐term water scarcity often results in depletion of water resources in so‐called water scarcity hotspots.
