Polyethylene oxide matrix tablet swelling evolution: The impact of molecular mass and tablet composition

open access: yesActa Pharmaceutica, 2021
This article describes the designing of matrix tablets composed of polyethylene oxides (PEOs) with relative molecular masses of 1 × 106, 2 × 106, and 4 × 106. Percolation thresholds were determined for all of the selected PEO formulations (18, 16, and 12

WAXS in-situ study of R-BAPB polyetherimid double-melting behavior

open access: yesPolymer Testing, 2022
Reactor particles of nascent polyetherimid (PI) R-BAPB powder consist of numerous morphological units of the lamellar type, which have semicrystalline structure. Two endo-peaks at 318 °C and 340 °C were observed in the DSC thermogram of the PI powder.

Structure of spherulite in Polybutene-1 investigated by wide angle X-ray scattering computed tomography

open access: yesPolymer Testing, 2023
Investigating the structure of spherulite is instructive for better understanding the polymer crystallization process and mechanism, which is critical for the design and manufacture of polymeric products with high performance. Wide angle X-ray scattering

In Situ Synchrotron X-ray Study of the Mechanical Properties of Pure Mg Produced by Powder Metallurgy

open access: yesMetals, 2020
In this study, in situ synchrotron X-ray experiments with wide-angle X-ray scattering (WAXS) and small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) detectors were performed on two pure magnesium materials produced by powder metallurgy.

On the Highly Ordered Graphene Structure of Non-Graphitic Carbons (NGCs)—A Wide-Angle Neutron Scattering (WANS) Study

open access: yesC, 2023
Non-graphitic carbons (NGCs), such as glass-like carbons, pitch cokes, and activated carbon consist of small graphene layer building stacks arranged in a turbostratic order.
