Weak Contractions, Common Fixed Points, and Invariant Approximations
The concept of weak contraction was extended to the notion of \((\theta, L)\)-weak contraction by \textit{V.\,Berinde} [``On the approximation of fixed points of weak contractive mappings'', Carpathian J.~Math.\ 19, No.\,1, 7--22 (2003; Zbl 1114.47045)]. In this paper, the authors extend the concept of \((\theta, L)\)-weak contraction and introduce the

Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

This study examines how pore shape and manufacturing‐induced deviations affect the mechanical properties of 3D‐printed lattice materials with constant porosity. Combining µ‐CT analysis, FEM, and compression testing, the authors show that structural imperfections reduce stiffness and strength, while bulk material inhomogeneities probably enhance ...

Generalized multivalued $F$-weak contractions on complete metric spaces [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce the notion of generalized multivalued $F$- weak contraction and we prove some fixed point theorems related to introduced contraction for multivalued mapping in complete metric spaces.

Coupled Fixed Point Theorems for Weak Contraction Mappings under F-Invariant Set
We extend the recent results of the coupled fixed point theorems of Cho et al. (2012) by weakening the concept of the mixed monotone property. We also give some examples of a nonlinear contraction mapping, which is not applied to the existence of the ...

Narrow Banking: Theory, evidence and prospects in India [PDF]
The narrow banking proposal defining a class of safe and liquid assets (generally sovereign Government securities) for investments by weak banks, backed fully by demand liabilities (generally non-interest bearing deposits) has been considered as a means ...

Implementation of Drug‐Induced Rhabdomyolysis and Acute Kidney Injury in Microphysiological System
A modular Muscle–Kidney proximal tubule‐on‐a‐chip integrates 3D skeletal muscle and renal proximal tubule tissues to model drug‐induced rhabdomyolysis and acute kidney injury. The coculture system enables dynamic tissue interaction, functional contraction monitoring, and quantification of nephrotoxicity, revealing drug side effect‐induced metabolic ...

Bio‐based and (semi‐)synthetic zwitterion‐modified novel materials and fully synthetic next‐generation alternatives show the importance of material design for different biomedical applications. The zwitterionic character affects the physiochemical behavior of the material and deepens the understanding of chemical interaction mechanisms within the ...

Spark plasma sintering enables rapid processing of porous organic polymer (POP) from fine powders to a freestanding and mechanically robust monolith. The sintering process retains the CO2 adsorption capacity and CO2/N2 selectivity, making the monolith more suitable as a solid sorbent for practical carbon capture applications.
