SNUPN‐Related Muscular Dystrophy: Novel Phenotypic, Pathological and Functional Protein Insights
ABSTRACT Objective SNUPN‐related muscular dystrophy or LGMDR29 is a new entity that covers from a congenital or childhood onset pure muscular dystrophy to more complex phenotypes combining neurodevelopmental features, cataracts, or spinocerebellar ataxia. So far, 12 different variants have been described.

As many patients with inflammatory arthritis (IA) have chronic pain, understanding how to best assess and manage pain in IA is a priority. Comorbid depression is prevalent in adults with IA, affecting 15% to 39% of people. Although pain and depression are thought to be associated in IA, this concept is largely based on cross‐sectional data.

CMB lensing reconstruction with point source masks
An incomplete sky coverage poses difficulties in the extraction of the weak lensing information from the CMB. We test the reconstruction of the weak lensing convergence from CMB maps to which masks of point sources have been applied. We use the quadratic

Weak convergence with random indices
AbstractSuppose {Xnn⩾-0} are random variables such that for normalizing constants an>0, bn, n⩾0 we have Yn(·)=(X[n, ·]-bn/an ⇒ Y(·) in D(0.∞) . Then an and bn must in specific ways and the process Y possesses a scaling property. If {Nn} are positive integer valued random variables we discuss when YNn → Y and Y'n=(X[Nn]-bn)/an ⇒ Y'.

Bridging Nature and Technology: A Perspective on Role of Machine Learning in Bioinspired Ceramics
Machine learning (ML) is revolutionizing the development of bioinspired ceramics. This article investigates how ML can be used to design new ceramic materials with exceptional performance, inspired by the structures found in nature. The research highlights how ML can predict material properties, optimize designs, and create advanced models to unlock a ...

On strong forms of weak convergence
The authors discuss several convergences of probability measures stronger than the strong convergence. They present equivalent descriptions of these convergences emulating the Skorokhod representation and the definition of the weak convergence. The paper contains applications to sufficient statistics and to Markov processes.

Weak Convergence of Robust Functions on Topological Groups
This paper introduces weak variants of level convergence (L-convergence) and epigraph convergence (E-convergence) for nets of level functions on general topological spaces, extending the classical metric and real-valued frameworks to ordered codomains ...
