Pediatric Aphakic Contact Lens Wear: Rates of Successful Wear
Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, 1993ABSTRACT Two hundred thirty-eight consecutive patients with pediatric cataracts were fitted with a variety of aphakic contact lenses after cataract extraction. Thirty-nine patients did not return for follow up. Of the remaining 199 patients, 40 discontinued contact lens wear.

Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy, 1993AbstractSeveral methods are presented to quantitatively measure the wear of compressed tablets. The natural logarithm of the weight fraction, W/Wo, decreases linearly with increasing wear time. Thus, the wearability of a tablet may be described by a first-order rate constant or its half life.
