Analysis and design of wind energy system based on nonlinear speed controller
This paper presents a control fuzzy robuste strategy for a squirrel cage Induction generator (SCIG)-based wind energy conversion system. Control strategies is presented along with the mathematical modeling of the employed configuration. The maximum power

A New Padé Approach to Modeling Wormholes in Dekel‐Zhao Dark Matter Halos
A matter‐first Padé strategy is introduced to build traversable wormholes from prescribed dark‐matter halos. Rational Padé fits approximately the Dekel–Zhao density and are analytically integrated to obtain a shape function that exactly reproduces the intended matter content, avoiding spurious poles of geometry‐first schemes.

A power take-off and control strategy in a test wave energy converter for a moderate wave climate [PDF]
The energy in the waves of oceans and seas can be converted to electricity by different types of Wave Energy Converters (WECs). Wave energy conversion is currently widely studied to contribute to the world’s rising energy needs.

Abstract Solanum tuberosum L. (potato) is the world's most important vegetable crop, and developing improved cultivars is paramount for global food security. The efficacy of the genomic prediction models that accelerate breeding and genome‐wide association studies (GWAS) depends on large, high‐quality phenotypic datasets, which are often associated ...

Anticancer and antimetastatic effects of cordycepin, an active component of Cordyceps sinensis
Cordyceps sinensis, a fungus that parasitizes on the larva of Lepidoptera, has been used as a valued traditional Chinese medicine. We investigated the effects of water extracts of Cordyceps sinensis (WECS), and particularly focused on its anticancer and ...

Effects of WEC Geometry on the Performance of a WEC Array-VLFS Integrated System
Abstract This study focuses on analysing the effects of wave energy converter (WEC) geometry on the performance of an integrated system comprising a WEC array and a very large floating structure (VLFS). A numerical model of the integrated system is established based on multi-body potential theory, the discrete-module-beam (DMB) method,
