An extension of a multidimensional Hilbert-type inequality

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
In this paper, by the use of weight coefficients, the transfer formula and the technique of real analysis, a new multidimensional Hilbert-type inequality with multi-parameters and a best possible constant factor is given, which is an extension of some ...

Poincar\'e square series of small weight

open access: yes, 2017
We extend the author's earlier computation and give coefficient formulas for the (quasimodular) Poincar\'e square series of weight 3/2 and weight 2 for the dual Weil representation for an even lattice.Comment: 17 ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Perverse Monodromic Sheaves

open access: yes, 2020
We introduce and study the category of modular (i.e. with coefficient of positive characteristic) monodromic perverse sheaves on complex stratified $T$-varieties, with $T$ a complex algebraic torus.

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

An aerodynamic load criterion for airships [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
A simple aerodynamic bending moment envelope is derived for conventionally shaped airships. This criterion is intended to be used, much like the Naval Architect's standard wave, for preliminary estimates of longitudinal strength requirements.

Rethinking Attention Weights as Bidirectional Coefficients

open access: yesJournal of Data Science
Attention mechanism has become an almost ubiquitous model architecture in deep learning. One of its distinctive features is to compute non-negative probabilistic distribution to re-weight input representations. This work reconsiders attention weights as bidirectional coefficients instead of probabilistic measures for potential benefits in ...

Evaluation of in vitro toxicity of common phytochemicals included in weight loss supplements using 1H NMR spectroscopy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We investigated the toxicity of 12 active compounds commonly found in herbal weight loss supplements (WLS) using human liver and colon cell models. Epigallocatechin‐3‐gallate was the only compound showing significant toxicity. Metabolic profiling revealed protein degradation, disrupted energy and lipid metabolism suggesting that the inclusion of EGCG ...
