Life‐History, Stress‐Resistance, and Transcriptomic Variation Among a Mexican Caenorhabditis elegans Isolate and Contemporary and Ancestral N2 Lineages

We compared a recently isolated wild strain of Caenorhabditis elegans from Mexico City (VJV2) with the contemporary standard N2 Lab strain and the cryopreserved N2 Ancestral lineage. The strains differed in lifespan, fertility, and survival under pathogen, oxidative, and heat stress.

Inter‐ and Intraspecific Variation in Web Architecture and Its Significance in Australian Funnel‐Web Spiders (Atracidae)

We quantified inter‐ and intraspecific variation in web architecture across three Australian funnel‐web spider species using image‐based morphometrics. Species differed significantly in web size, shape and sensory‐to‐capture zone allocation and these differences support both ecological interpretation and non‐invasive field identification.
