Oral exposure to cannabis‐associated Actinomyces species, particularly A. meyeri, is associated with anxiety‐like behavior in mice in the absence of detectable bacterial translocation or overt systemic inflammation. These findings support a potential oral‐brain metabolic axis involving candidate metabolites such as arginine and argininosuccinate ...

By integrating knowledge‐augmented artificial intelligence with an oxygen‐supplemented 3D screening platform, a synergistic interaction between berberine and enzalutamide is identified. The framework integrates compound mechanisms of action with disease‐relevant signaling context to prioritize candidate combinations and generate testable pathway‐based ...

Different detection and stacking techniques in capillary electrophoresis for metabolomics
In the last decade, capillary electrophoresis (CE) has joined other analytical separation techniques that are widely used in metabolomics. The coupling of CE with mass spectrometry (MS) as a detector has become a gold standard.

Semi‐Artificial Photosynthesis Enables Light‐Driven Biomanufacturing in Non‐Photosynthetic Bacteria
A non‐invasive strategy exploits endogenous H2S metabolism in B. subtilis to drive in situ CdS biomineralization, enabling tight bio‐abiotic contact without genetic modification. Light harvested by the biomineralized nanoparticles powers NADPH regeneration, elevating 2’‐fucosyllactose and surfactin titres two‐ to three‐fold.

Use cases, best practice and reporting standards for metabolomics in regulatory toxicology.
Metabolomics is a widely used technology in academic research, yet its application to regulatory science has been limited. The most commonly cited barrier to its translation is lack of performance and reporting standards.

During NETosis, neutrophils shift metabolically toward enhanced OXPHOS and partially reduced glycolysis. This shift is driven by PDHA1 hyperactivity‐dependent selective metabolic reprogramming. The neutrophil‐targeted nanoparticle 3‑FP‑BSA NPs effectively inhibit NETosis and attenuate ALI.
