Conventional and organic cropping systems at Suitia V: Cereal diseases
The occurrence of diseases on barley and winter wheat was surveyed in a field experiment comparing four conventional and four organic cropping systems in 1982—88. On barley, foliar diseases were of minor importance regardless of the cropping system.

ABSTRACT Salinity is a major threat to global agricultural productivity of staple crops such as wheat. Although microbial‐based solutions hold promise for alleviating salinity stress, practical implementation is hindered by insufficient mechanistic characterization of bioinoculants and their interactions with plants.

ABSTRACT Triticale (x Triticosecale Wittmack) is an interspecific hybrid of wheat and rye. It is a promising grain and forage crop that thrives in poorer soils and low‐input farming systems. It can serve as a viable alternative to traditional small grains such as wheat and barley, bringing diversity to crop rotations and enhancing biodiversity in ...

The Effect of Cover Crops on Weeds Control and Essential Oil Yield of Mint (Mentha piperita L.) [PDF]
Planting of narrow leaf cover crops may have an important effect in reducing the use of herbicide. Cover crops, therefore, are an effective tools in the non-chemical weed management in sustainable agriculture.
