本報告は第一章及び第二章に分れ,第一章に於ては材料がダイスによつて變形を受ける時の幾何學的の機構を考へ,更に機械的性質の左右される要素を考へた.變形の有樣を見やすくするために材料の丸棒を縱に半分に切斷し,其の半面に格子状の線を刻し,ついでダイスで引いた.かくして格子状の變形から材料の變形を檢することにした.次の諸項がその結論として得られたものである.(1)格子線の内,棒の軸に平行なるものはダイスを通つた後に互に平行である.但し隣接する二線間の距離は均一に縮められる.(第1圖.第2圖)(2)格子線の内,棒の軸に直角なものはダイスによつて曲げられる.其の形は大體パラボラに近似し表面に近づく,程強く後方に引かれる.(第1圖.第2圖)(3)此等の格子線の變化をしらべると次のことがわかる ...
