This study uncovers a complex interaction between l‐lysine and Holdemanella biformis (H. biformis) in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). l‐lysine enhances intestinal barrier function and alleviates anxiety‐like behaviours by modulating tryptophan metabolism. The investigation revealed that the PD1 GG genotype exhibited a significant protective effect, substantially reducing the likelihood of breast cancer development.
